Taekwondo Young Masters

The Young Master Club was designed to help children who have difficulty focusing in their daily lives. By dedicating an hour each week to practice cognitive-behavior strategies, children do their best to help centre themselves and regulate their arousal levels. Through occupational therapy strategies, adapted Taekwondo, Yoga, and relaxation training, Young Masters are able to fully engage in meaningful occupation and gain self-esteem, confidence, and camaraderie with others. The tenets of Taekwondo, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, and indomitable spirit empowers the Young Master to apply the skills taught in the Dojang to their own lives.
