Privacy Statement
The Centre for Autism Services Alberta is committed to protecting the privacy
of individuals and their personal information used, collected or disclosed about
these individuals. The Centre is accountable to client, employees, volunteers,
donors, funders and the public and such treats all information entrusted to the
agency with utmost confidentiality and respect for privacy.
In keeping with the principles of PIPIDA, the Centre for Autism Services
Alberta will:
- Identity the purpose for collecting information
- Collect only the information necessary to provide the services of the
agency
- Will not be sell, rent or lease its customer list to third parties
- Not release information without prior written consent except in
situation where other laws take precedent
- The Centre will use the information to improve the content of the
website
- Maintain as accurate and up-to-date information possible
- Employ a variety of safeguards to ensure the privacy of information
- Provide individuals with access to private information maintained about
them. All files must be reviewed by a Privacy Officer (or delegate) to
insure no third party information is found in files, so a waiting period for
access to information will apply.
We do not regularly use “cookies” to track how our visitors use the site.
Whenever we enable cookies to facilitate our transactions, we will inform you
first.
