The Centre for Autism Services Alberta (formerly Family Linkages Foundation of Alberta) is a non-profit registered charity offering services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and has been providing services to children and families affected by ASD in the Greater Edmonton Area since 1997.

Training

Skill builiding workshops are offered on a regular basis for parents and interested community members. They include topics such as: An Introduction to Autism, Behaviours that Challenge, Visual Supports and Schedules, Hanen More than Words. Additionally, the Centre offers monthly training sessions for behavioural aides. Click below for a quick reference guide to dates and times of upcoming educational opportunities.

 

 

Services

The Centre for Autism Services Alberta offers a wide array of programs and services for children with autism. Each program focuses on skills for independence and connections to the community through a combination of home, community, and centre based services. The Centre has three large, well equipped therapy rooms, a calming room, a training room, and a resource library. For detailed program desciptions click below.
